Getting started
For my firt post I'll introduce you to Alexa Meade, a 23 year old D.C. based artist who is developing an aesthetic that is playfully and skillfully combing paint, portraiture, photography and performance. The finalized work is one that is beautifully engaging, temporary and colorfully alive. Check out the video that illustrates the painting process and how the personality and background of the model is integrated into the creative process.

INCREDIBLE!! .. Wow - thank you so much for sharing this unique artist. Having a love for the arts and having done a few paintings myself I am in total awe of the magnificent artist, Alexa Meade. To think such talent has been reached at the young age of 23. Love, Love, Love her work!!
